Dying Light developer Techland is kicking off the game’s fifth anniversary celebrations by giving away free copies of Dying Light: Bad Blood to all current and future owners of the main game. Dying Light: Bad Blood is a PvPvE battle royale take on Dying Light’s unique mechanics. The 12-player spin-off is a brutal, melee-focused affair with a few interesting twists.
If you own Dying Light on PC, PS4 or Xbox One, you are eligible for a free copy of Dying Light: Bad Blood on PC. To claim it, all you have to do is head to the Dying Light Docket website, create an account and link your Steam/PSN/Xbox account. If you own the base game on any platform, you’ll see a banner that offers you a free copy. This offer does not have an end date, so be sure to head to the link if/when you buy Dying Light in the future. While you’re there, Techland also has a friend referral programme going. If you get a friend to sign up, you’ll both receive a weapon bundle you can claim at the Quartermaster in-game. Techland is planning a big anniversary celebration in February, with new content and in-game events for Dying Light. The developer continues to work on Dying Light 2, which was recently delayed.
