It’s been a while since we got treated to new Cyberpunk 2077 footage, so those of us who can’t wait to get their hands on it have been spending their time going through existing footage. Twitter user @Black_Chamber_ recently spotted an Easter egg in the first gameplay demo shown for Cyberpunk 2077. In the E3 2018 footage, the main character enters a room with the number 1237 to find a dead, naked woman in the bathtub. This may not look like anything special, until you remember that room 237 in Stanley Kubrick’s The Shining also had a dead old woman, where she, too, was found naked in the bathtub. There’s likely nothing more to it than being a simple callback, but it’s a neat addition nonetheless. To see this content please enable targeting cookies. Perhaps Cyberpunk 2077 is hiding many more Easter eggs, which we’ll get to discover on September 17.
