On Monday, we saw that an innocuous Salt Mines door was killing players, for some reason. This clearly wasn’t supposed to be happening and may have been tied to the Red Door fast travel system that was introduced with Season 4. Now, though, Raven seems to have fixed the issue, and has updated its Season 4 patch notes to reflect the alteration. But that’s not all the ever-tinkering studio has changed. You may have been made aware of the MG 82 LMG since Season 4 kicked off; it’s a new weapon that was introduced on June 17 and instantly saw widespread adoption in the battle royale game. It was so popular, in fact, that Raven explicitly said it’s in line for a nerf just 24 hours after it arrived in the game. “The MG 82 (BOCW) made one too many trips to the Pack-a-Punch machine before deploying to Verdansk,” said the developer. “Element 115 is off limits in #Warzone so we will be making an adjustment to this Weapon soon.” That time has come, sadly for any of you MG 82 users out there. Maybe one day soon, we’ll see Raven launch a new Call of Duty Warfare season without having to backtrack on too many of the additions.
