GamesBeat reporter Jeff Grubb was first to hint that another game will be delayed this week on Twitter. Though Grubb didn’t specifically name Battlefield 2042 initially, he later confirmed that DICE’s shooter is indeed the game he was referring to on his Discord - as captured by @Okami13. Insider Tom Henderson has also chimed in to say they’ve heard similar news. However, it doesn’t look like the different parties are in agreement about just how long the delay is going to be....

Beyond Good and Evil is getting its own feature film and it will air on Netflix. The film will be a hybrid live-action and animated offering and it’s coming from Detective Pikachu director Rob Letterman. In a blog post today, BioWare Austin director Christian Dailey outlined some of the changes coming to loot and weapons in Anthem. One of the changes discussed includes an increase in the frequency of loot drops. Another is the ability to pursue specific loot without “relying on randomness alone,” and making loot feel “exciting and more noticeable” when it drops. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has received a small update on all platforms overnight. The main point of the patch was to fix broken Regiment tags, which a patch earlier in the week unintentionally broke. The original patch was designed to fix blue name tag exploit, which it did. It also ended up breaking the gold Regiment tag for players, leaving everyone with “3” and “3 3” in their tag field....

We’re of course talking about the Vital proficiency, an attachment that requires a weapon rank of 50 before it’s available to use. The way it works is simple - it expands the critical hit areas from just to head to the whole upper body - making it easier to deal huge amounts of damage per shot. As Dorrani explains in his video showcasing the attachment on a range of weapons, this drastically lowers the time it takes to kill other players at all ranges....

Since Warzone’s launch, the weapons available in the Gulag were specifically limited to pistols and shotguns, with not a single assault rifle or SMG....

This week’s playlist update has arrived in Call of Duty: Warzone and Modern Warfare. On the Warzone side, the update removes BR Trios Classic, replacing it with Plunder Quad as the featured playlist. BR Trios, Solos and Quads remain. Monster Hunter World launched on PC several months after consoles, and the game - to this day - doesn’t offer either cross-play or cross-save....
