Introduced in Gen 7, Nihilego is an Ultra Beast that resembles a jellyfish and is one of 11 currently known Ultra Beasts part of Pokemon lore. Ultra Beasts are a group of extradimensional Pokemon that come from space and appear via Ultra Wormholes in Alola. They are rather combative and drawn to those who have also passed through an Ultra Wormhole, due to residual energy. When encountered in the wild, most Poke Balls have difficulty catching them, but Beast Balls can as they were designed to catch these creatures....

One particular issue that’s been coming up for people who opted for the PS5’s disc-based standard edition, is that the disc in the drive appears to spin for now particular reason. We’re all, of course, used to hearing the disc spin every now and then, but that only happens when the console tries to access something on the disc....

Krafton has revealed that PUBG’s next map, codename Tiger, is now officially called Taego. This is the game’s first 8x8km map in years, and it will arrive July 7 on PC, and July 15 on consoles. As you might expect, testing for the new map will begin a week before those dates on each platform, on the game’s test server. While the developer didn’t share much in this week’s announcement, it previously said that Taego will be set in Korean....

Shinji Mikami will always go down as a legendary name in video game development. He helped hone and shape what horror in a video game could be when he directed Resident Evil in 1996. He then went on to reinvent the genre again with the more action-orientated Resident Evil 4. The creator, who founded ZeniMax’s Tango Gameworks in 2010, has taken a backseat in recent years though. The last game he directed was The Evil Within in 2014....

You might remember that back in March there was quite a big Apex Legends leak showing nine potential new characters, including the most recent addition Newcastle. Now it seems that Respawn itself has accidentally shown a brief preview of the next character joining the game, advertising a potential upcoming Stories from the Outlands. As reported by Dot Esports, one fan spotted this preview in the Apex client yesterday (July 23), inviting players to watch a Stories from the Outland episode titled Survive....

Return to Monkey Island was announced on April Fools’ Day by creator Ron Gilbert. The game has been in development for two years at Gilbert’s Terrible Toybox studio. The story takes place following the events of Monkey Island 2. Gilbert is bringing back much of the original creative crew, including composers Michael Land, Clint Bajakian, and Peter McConnel. Guybrush Threepwood’s original voice actor, Dominic Armato, is also on board. Reutrn to Monkey Island is looking like a, well, return to that original style in every way, only with modern visuals....

Void Bastards first launched to PC and Xbox One in 2019. In July 2019, the game received a free challenge mode and its first paid DLC expansion featuring a new organization, a new opponent, new ships, and rewards. The first-person strategy shooter tasks players with leading a rag-tag team called Void Bastards out of the Sargasso Nebula....

Season seven of Sea of Thieves was shown off last month as part of Xbox and Bethesda’s showcase, an update that has been planned since before the game launched. The Captaincy update, as it has been dubbed, was meant to bring in the ability to fully customise your cabin, as well as finally let you name your ship. According to Axios, the treasurers from the six states have asked to meet with the board members at Activision Blizzard by December 20, and have threatened action against the company if it does not meet their demands. The core gameplay loop in Skull and Bones, as we’ve seen in new trailers and videos released by Ubisoft today, will see you sailing the Indian Ocean, raiding and pillaging in order to grow your crew, build bigger and better boats, and put a sizeable dent in the trading routes and Privateer vessels that think they’re the rulers of the water. Though the game can be played solo, the Ubisoft team sees it more as a “live multiplayer” experience – and that seems to be shaping how the developer will approach post-launch content....

Using currently available information, a 3D Warehouse user by the name of Derek B. has recreated Night City from Cyberpunk 2077. If you look at the 3D map created, you will also notice a blank area outside of the city. This could be the Badlands where you will find buildings buried in the dirt. This will be an area you can explore by foot or using a vehicle. We won’t really know what to expect from the map until the game launches later this year, but we do know the map will be smaller than that of The Witcher 3....

While Alduin ends up being no match for the Dragonborn during their iconic clash in the fields of Sovngarde, the fight likely would have gone a lot smoother for the latter if they had access to a special Dovahkiin warplane.
