Blizzard has today announced the release date for Diablo 2: Resurrected. The game arrives on September 23 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Switch. Dolmen was re-revealed today as another project to be published by Prime Matter. Dolmen is a sci-fi action RPG, set in a Giger-esque universe. If I had a nickel for every weird place you’re able to play Doom, I’d probably have quite a few nickels, because people just seem incredibly determined to get it to run on anything they can get their hands on. Today, this particular nickel of mine comes from developer Samperson, who got Doom running on the note taking software Notepad (slight flashing warning in the example video seen below). As part of EA’s earnings call for the publisher’s Q3 of FY2021, CEO Andrew Wilson revealed a few tidbits about the next Battlefield. The game remains on track for a holiday 2021 release, and will be revealed to the public this spring (March-June). Wilson called the next Battlefield “a return to all-out military warfare,” and reiterated that it’s going to take full advantage of PS5 and Xbox Series X/S hardware....

Compared to past Battlefield games, the volume of content is well below what players have come to expect, including the embattled Battlefield 5. Escape from Tarkov has brought back its very popular Twitch drops event. It kicked off earlier today, and will remain available until Sunday, June 21 at 11pm PT, or 2am ET, 7am BST (June 22). Every day, a different set of Twitch streamers will enable drops on their channels. On June 21, all participating streamers will have drops on simultaneously. Drops can be weapons, equipment and some rare items. Battlestate didn’t specify a set number of hours you’ll need to watch in order to qualify....
