The supposed leak was shared on Twitter, where it was documented that four new heroes and one new villain could be coming to Crystal Dynamics’ Marvel’s Avengers. Whether or not that means at launch or further down the line is unclear, as is the role - if any - they will play in the main story. Released on April 5, the game hit that figure within two weeks making it the biggest launch in LEGO game history. Microsoft went all out promoting the limited edition Cyberpunk 2077 Xbox One X console, and its associated controller. Though the control has no such hidden message, Microsoft dropped a separate trailer for it on Friday. Uploaded to both YouTube and Reddit, the video shows off procedural track generation in the engine. Everything from the track itself to the environment is created on the fly, as the player has to race through these shifting roads dodging rocks and grabbing power ups along the way. It’s still early on in development, with a public demo yet to be made available. Sometimes, leaks happen. It’s a fact of life, and in an industry like video games where so much of it is highly secretive, leaks are made all the more desirable. Earlier this month, Capcom announced that its servers were compromised on November 2. Capcom did not initially reveal the scope of the attack, which was later confirmed to have been ransomware. In a follow-up to the original announcement, Capcom today confirmed everything the publisher believes was compromised in the attack. The list includes names, emails and personal information for employees at its Japan, US and Canada offices. The leaked data, estimated to be about 1TB in size, also includes a number of confidential marketing details about some of Capcom’s games, as well as details about partner deals....

The upcoming reboot of the Mortal Kombat film franchise has been delayed. The news has come via producer Todd Garner, who replied to a fan asking about the movie’s release date on Twitter – as spotted by GamesRadar – saying that there was no word on a release date for either a trailer or the finished product. “We’d always planned for it and thought we’d do it in March,” Garner wrote....

Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness is the CGI film coming to Netflix, which was announced back in fall 2020. According to Netflix, the film is bringing back Resident Evil 2 remake’s Nick Apostolides as Leon Kennedy and Stephanie Panisello as Claire Redfield. Alongside news of Panisello and Apostolides returning to reprise the characters, the film’s synopsis was revealed, and apparently, there has been an outbreak at the White House.
