At number one is Ben 10, followed by Walter White, The Warners, Mordecai & Rigby and Gumball. Now obviously, it’s worth noting that character mentions aren’t exactly votes. One dedicated Mordecai & Rigby fan could just spam out mentions until they started annoying the mods, or a gaggle of Gumball lovers could all constantly meme post to victory....

It’s Arms Race time in Borderlands 3, and you can participate in three consecutive week-long mini-events starting today, January 21. Arms Race is a roguelike experience that features randomized elements. In it, you are stripped of all your gear, passive abilities, and Actions Skills and dropped into a zone where you’ll have to get loot or die trying. The action takes place in the Stormblind Complex which is a decommissioned DAHL military base....

The character was announced today during a special Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Nintenedo Direct by the game’s director, Masahiro Sakurai. Both versions of Byleth will be playable, with a unique ranged playstyle and direction-based weapons. The Garreg Mach Monastery stage and 11 new music tracks from the Fire Emblem series will also be coming to the game later this month. All of this new content will be available to players who own the Fighters Pass, or alternatively, you can purchase Challenger Pack 5 separately for $5....

During today’s PS5 Showcase, Activision showed off a campaign trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. Titled Nowhere Left to Run, the video shows just a small part of the first level of the campaign. In this mission, you play as CIA Operative Alex Mason, who arrives in Trabzon with fellow operatives, including Frank Woods and new ally Russell Adler. Specifically, this CIA fireteam infiltrates an airport just as Arash, their high-value target is about to board a freight aircraft....

Apparently, the information comes from Vanguard files pertaining to the Season 3 Reloaded update found by dataminers (thanks, CharlieIntel) According to what was found, like previous Call of Duty betas, PS4 and PS5 players will be granted early access to the open beta first. Call of Duty Youtuber S0ur, mostly known for their deep dives on progression, challenges and unlocks, decided to perform a little experiment to see how convincing an AI would be at replicating the same style of writing seen in the blog posts and patch notes Modern Warfare has received since release. S0ur is using the popular tool Botnik for this. This is a predictive text algorithm that - when fed pages of official patch notes and weekly blog posts - generates believable sentences that resemble the source material, as believable as you’d get from a limited, Markov chain-based bot, anyway....

Last week, publisher Enad Global 7 announced that the unnamed Marvel MMO had been cancelled, with resources now moving across other long-term projects. Nothing had been shown off about the game since its announcement, but now some art shared by one of the game’s designers has been shared online. The designer in question, Ramiro Galan, shared a look at the MMO on his Artstation portfolio, showing something much more stylised than many might have expected....

The Switch console design is based on Capcom’s upcoming Monster Hunter Rise and the offering will be available in Europe and Japan on March 26. Now that Season 2 is out, there’s a whole new world of intel to find. Outbreak is no exception: in addition to the zombie head artifacts across all maps, there are one-offs to be found in each map. Slain enemies can also drop intel documents, although audio logs are so far conspicuously absent from Outbreak. There are 25 pieces of intel in Outbreak: 12 artifacts and 13 documents. Each time you pick up a new piece of intel, the game will update you on how many of the total you’ve found....
